JUST FINISHED:
- “With” (Skye Jethani): Beautiful book. The tagline says, “Reimagining the Way Your Relate to God.” Mission accomplished for this fellow!
- “Renovation of the Heart” (Dallas Willard) — Willard is gold. Every. Single. Time.
- “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People (Stephen Covey) –I confess that I’d tried twice before to read this book in years gone by. This time–driven by the fact that it was required homework–I succeeded. I know now why it’s sold multi-millions of copies.
- “Son of Laughter” (Frederick Buechner) — Beautiful novel about the life of Jacob and his descendents. Earthy, earthy, earthy, this work will breathe substantial life into the pages of this old “Sunday School story”.
WORKING ON:
- “Love and Respect” (Emerson Eggerichs): This is one that Shannon and I are reading “sort of together” as an investment into our marriage. To be honest, I think this guy is on to some MAJOR stuff, as far as what makes marriage tick.
- “King’s Cross” (Timothy Keller): I’m a fan of Keller. Powerful communicator with a sharp mind. His books have done me well every time thus far.
